カラオケ【Now with MP3!】"The Sin of Slander" by Pastor Steven Hereford

\x{00a0}The word "another" or "neighbour" as it says in the New Americal Standard Bible reflects possiblly what Jesus said in Matthew\x{00a0} 20 through 39 when he was answering the question by that lawyer, he said there, the second greatest commandment, "You shall love your neighbours as yourself."
Well, I believe neighbour in that context will refer to anybody.
But\x{00a0}I believe "another" or "neighbour" having one\x{00a0}in,\x{00a0}translated in this verse, I believe in context, you should be reffering to "fellow believer"; the one that you're condemning. Who do you think you are, condemning your brother?

"\x{00a0}\x{00a0} I wanna close by showing what happens when you don't heed the warning of James gives in this passage.\x{00a0} I want to do that by reading to you a story.
\x{00a0}\x{00a0} There was a happy little family that lived in a small town in North Dakota.\x{00a0} And even though the young mother had not been entirely well since the birth of her second baby, but each evening their neighbours were aware of the warmth in their hearts when they see the husband and father've been met at the gate with his wife and his two small children.\x{00a0} There was a laughter in the evening, too, when the weather was nice, and father and children walked together in the back lawn road, their mother was looking on with a happy smiles.
\x{00a0}\x{00a0} And then one day, the village gossip had started a story, saying that the father was being unfaithful to his wife, a story that was entirely without a foundation.\x{00a0} But the individuals came to the ears of the young wife, and it was more than she could bear.\x{00a0} Reason left its throne.\x{00a0} And that night, when her husband came home, there was no one to meet him at the gate or laughter in a house with the fragrant aroma coming from the kitchen; only coldness, and something that chilled his heart with fear.\x{00a0} Down in the basement he found the three of them hanging from the beam.\x{00a0} Sickened in despair, the young mother had taken the lives of two children and of her own.\x{00a0} In the days that followed, the truth of what happened came out.\x{00a0} The gossips turned an untrue story a terrible tragedy.\x{00a0}\x{00a0} If only we could see the deavstating effects of this sunken hell.\x{00a0} We can either build up, or we can tear down.\x{00a0} And the natural men loves to tear down, not build up.
\x{00a0} As a child of God, you've been given the ability to build up. So we need to do that. Amen?

Heavenly Father, we thank you for Your word today.
We ask that You would first of all forgive us for we are guilty of the sin of slander.
And then, Heavenly Fahter, I pray that You would help us to build up and not tear down.
And You help us to love and not hate; hate is inconsistent with who You are, and inconsistent with Your Gospel.
I know many times we are misunderstood, and Lord, many time it's not a whole lot we can do without that When we're speaking the truth and we're not seeking to defame any other person
AndLord, in these times when we do hear things or we have the opportunity to say things, Lord, give us discernment.
Cuase us to walk by Your Spirit at all times just as walking seems to indicate one step at a time.
Help us to do that daily, moment by moment.
Help us to love one another as we love ourselves.
Lord, we thank You for this truth that You taught us today.
Help us to never forget who we are, what kind of people that exist in this room that no one love\x{00a0}than\x{00a0}the Lord\x{00a0}Jesus Christ, the fellow heirs of the Kingdom of God, those that we will rule togehter with in Heaven and bow before Your Throne.
We pray these things in Jesus' Name. Amen.
